Sustainability Report 2025 (Japanese version) has been published
Compass Group Japan Inc. has published the Japanese version of the “Compass Group Sustainability Report 2025,” which summarizes initiatives to bring positive impacts to the environment and society. This report introduces efforts to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, promote the reduction of food loss, improve transparency in the supply chain, and advance the creation of an inclusive environment and employee well-being.
As an initiative in Japan, Katsuya Shoji of the B&I Global Account (title at the time of selection) is featured as a “Planet Promise Gamechanger” in recognition of his strong commitment to sustainability and leadership.
In addition, as an example of promoting an inclusive corporate culture, the activities of the internal community, the Women Empowerment Network (WEN), are also included.
■About WEN
WEN is an internal community where employees engage in dialogue with each other and enhance their work skills while exchanging opinions. In particular, it values reflecting women’s experiences and perspectives in company initiatives and rule-making on themes such as childcare, flexible working styles, and work-life balance.
WEN is also an open community in which anyone can participate regardless of gender, job type, or employment status, and it widely accepts not only women but also employees who support the promotion of gender balance. In Japanese society, where harmony and modesty have traditionally been valued, it supports the creation of an inclusive workplace where each individual can act proactively.
